- I am an experienced and energetic teacher who has a passion for teaching children and adults of all ages.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach the flute and piano and can prepare students for grade 5 theory exams.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I am a qualified teacher. I have a PGCE in music teaching and a BMus hons from Trinity College of Music
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I am the Director of Music in a primary school in Bromley. I work for Lewisham Music Service and JASSPA music school in Dulwich. I run a busy private teaching practice from my home. I have a 100% pass rate in exam entries and have taught many students from beginner to grade 8.
I graduated from Trinity College of Music in 2009 having previously studied at Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama and The Purcell School.
I play principal flute in the Docklands Sinfonia where recent engagements have sent us to Buckingham Palace, Royal Albert Hall and Guildford Cathedral. - How much do you charge?
- I charge £28 for hourly lessons, £12 for 20 mins and £15 for half an hour lessons. Lessons are paid for in advance at the beginning of each half term.
I can also teach during school holidays. - Where do you teach?
- I teach at my house in Bromley.
- When are you available?
- I have slots available on a Mon, Thursday and Friday evenings and some availability on Saturday afternoons.

- Where and with whom did you train?
- Purcell School with Claire Southworth and Anna Pope, Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Anna Noakes and Debbie Davies and Trinity College of Music under Lynda Coffin and Alan Baker. I studied at Sussex University when completing my PGCE in music teaching.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I currently have several piano students aged 5-15 and I teach several flute students from aged 8-15 ranging from beginner to a grade 8 student.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I am an energetic and passionate teacher. I am used to teaching all sorts of students from all walks of life. All my students progress at their own rate and I plan my lessons to the individuals needs.
