I have a BA in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics from King's College London - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching students privately and in groups, from beginners to advanced instrumentalists since 2010, currently working as a dep for the East London Late Starters Orchestra (ELLSO). I am dedicated to a friendly and nurturing approach to teaching, and seek to bring out each student's strengths and musical passions off the back of a thorough grounding in good technique. I am passionate about exploring new styles of music and repertoire for the violin.
I have just started running performance classes for my friends and students in London for any who are interested. It is my belief that, for many musicians, it is the working towards a performance and making music with other people which spurs them on to practice and get the most out of their studies. It is of course not imperative to do this, but I would like to give anyone keen to practice performing the chance.
I have just been awarded a place at the Royal Academy of Music for an MA in classical performance. I play in many ensembles, including the Kensington Chamber Orchestra, my own string orchestra and quartet, and other groups including my own band Scarlett in the Wilderness, and work/perform with artists including folk singer Sam Lee, folk-pop sensation Katy Carr, fiddle player extrodinaire Piotr Jordan as well as many others... - How much do you charge?
- £25/hour
£15/half hour - Where do you teach?

- Anyone from 4 to 90
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- Exams up to grade 8
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- No but I can obtain one
- Where and with whom did you train?
