- I am an experienced teacher both in the classroom and privately and can offer friendly one to one tuition in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach mainly music (instrumental and theory) but also offer A level, G.C.S.E. Music and also KS2/3 Music and English. I can also offer jazz theory/harmony and improvsational lessons
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a P.G.C.E secondary music (U.C.E.) and a degree in Jazz, Pop and Contemporary Music (Hons) from Leeds College of Music
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have taught as a peripatetic brass teacher for 12 years. I have also taught at Wolverhampton University and Leeds College of Music. I also have 2 years experience as a classroom music teacher. I am also a professional musician and have worked with many high class musicians and T.V. personalities and recorded internationally.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £30 p/hr for instrumental lessons with travel added on if you live more than 10 miles away

- I teach both at my own address and the client's in Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kinver, Penn, Perton, Tettenhall, Pattingham, Wombourne, Compton, Coven, Codsall,Billbrook, Brewood, Telford, Stafford, Walsall, Birmingham, Kidderminster, up to a max of 35 miles away from Wolverhampton

- I started lessons with Frank Waddington in Lancashire before moving onto Ian Hamilton (ex greandier guards), Roy Curran (ex C.B.S.O.), Fred Kelly (ex Northern Radio Big Band), Bob Taylor (ex Drifters) and have recently had lesson from Bobby Shew (USA) an internationally respected trumpet player www.bobbyshew.com
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- My most recent exam pupil passed his grade 1 one mark short of full marks! I've taken pupils to Diploma level and they have gone onto Leeds College of Music, Birmingham Conservatoire, Trinty College London and are working in the music business as full time professionals. Most of my current pupils are preparing for exams.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- Enjoy yourselves. Music is FUN FUN FUN!! Put the most possible effort into playing each note no matter what style of music it is. Rewards come from hard work and determination. Performance is what brings a musician alive so always try and do the best you can.
