My whole career has been teaching French at Primary, Secondary and University levels
I started my career teaching French in a Secondary School in Sutton.
I then obtained a job teaching French at the University of Bielefeld in Germany
I have taught in the Independent sector for over 15 years and was Head of Department in my last post
I am now a Visiting Oral examiner for AQA AS and A2 French and an examiner for the Cambridge Overseas Board.

No.
Where and with whom did you train?
I obtained my PGCE from the University of Oxford and have followed various courses over the last 10 years for the teaching of French as a foreign language.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently teach French to a boy who is in Year 10. I have been tutoring him for 3 years now. He had great difficulty with French when I started teaching him and he is well on the way to achieving A* in his GCSE next year. Amongst my other students are GCSE students whom I am preparing for their assessments and AS candidates.
Do you have a personal message for students?
In today's world, a second language is a must if you want to succeed in whatever career you choose and a good result in a second language is bound to get you into the university of your choice, even if you do not intend to study a language at university.
