Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Classical Singing, Jazz Singing, Musical Theatre Singing & Technique, Speech & Drama (I put students forward for the graded exams for the LAMDA Examination Board, and the Trinity & Guildhall Examination Board), Public Speaking for Confidence, Drama, Acting, Audition Technique and I also tutor students in English and/ or Drama for SATS, 11 plus, GCSEs & A Levels & up to degree level.

B.A (Honours) Drama & English

Diploma in Acting from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art

What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked professionally a an actress, singer, drama and singing teacher, director, and English Tutor for the last ten years. I sing professionally with a Jazz Quartet at functions, private parties and weddings. I absolutely love my work and the variety that comes from it!

How much do you charge?
£20 per lesson plus travel if tutoring at a student's house, discounted fees for group lessons.

Where do you teach?
I live in Leigh on Sea (near Southend on Sea) and will travel to all parts of London and Essex within reason, I will also travel to Surrey and Kent.

Students are also welcome welcome to have lessons at my house, I am CRB checked. If students are considering singing lessons I have a piano and all facilities! If students come to my home the rate is cheaper.

When are you available?
I am available on request. My work is as a freelancer so I am very flexible. If travelling away from Essex after school is better.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from the tiny tots to the grown ups!

I teach singing to Grade 8, and I teach Speech & Drama from Grade 1 to Diploma Level.

I also teach English and/or Drama from primary to degree level. This includes tutoring students for SATS, 11 plus entrance exams, GCSE's and 'A' Levels and Degree Level.

Do you have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes I do.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
EQUITY.

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained as an actress and singer at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art for two years full-time. At drama school I trained in singing under the direction of Darrel Mouton, a singing tutor at the Royal College of Music.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently teach a group of girls in a Jazz A Capella Group at Westcliff High School for Girls in Leigh-on-Sea. I also run Youth Theatre in Croydon, teach singing and Drama at Sandra Singer Stage School in Leigh-on Sea and tutor the subjects of English and Drama at all levels privately.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I am very easy to work with, believe in having great fun in lessons, and help students achieve their true potential. I work my students hard but it is thoroughly worth it in the end and my students are always pleased with their results!
