Which subject(s) do you teach?
Elocution and English to all ages. General subjects Primary Level. Can do some subjects up to GCSE.

Cert Ed Middle Years of Schooling.
Elocution qualification from Royal London School of Music
A Levels French, History, English

What kind of experience do you have?
Qualified as a teacher 1974. Worked in various Primary, Middle and Secondary settings.
Last 11 years worked as a Supply Teacher.
Over the last 30 years have worked one to one outside school settings.
Have worked on the One to One programme in several schools 2010-11

How much do you charge?
Basic £15 for teaching in my home. Working in your home, fee can vary but rarely above £20.

Where do you teach?
I live in Huddersfield and really don't want to travel far because travelling cuts down on the hours you can work. Usually decide on a case by case basis.

When are you available?
Can work during the day in school holidays.
In term time, usual hours are 4 till 8 p.m., Monday to Thursdays. Saturday and Sundays from 10 till 5. Some slots, however, may have been pre-booked

Which ages and levels do you teach?
From pre-school to 18. Do teach adults as well during the day at all times of the year.
Can prepare pupils for public exams, usually to GCSE level.

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
GCSE English and 11plus. Others can be discussed at application

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes. The Local Education Authority and several agencies have given me one.

Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Not available at the present.

Bradford College of Education (qualification from Leeds University)
Madame Habron College (qualification from London College of Music and Speech)

Key Stage 1 students, mainly English and Maths. Improve speech.
Key Stage 2 students, mainly English and Maths. Improve speech
Key Stage 3 students, English, Maths, and General Subjects.Improve speech.
Key Stage 4 students, English Laguage, English Literature and Speech
Adult students, foreign students, in work, who want to enhance their knowledge of English and the English culture and improve their speech

Do you have a personal message for students?
I hope to improve not only the knowledge of students, but also help to improve their ability to compete with others and become more self aware.
