- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach Italian language and Literatures, Spanish language and Literature, French Language and Literature and History.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I hold a BA University degree Foreign Languages and Literatures obtained at the University Ca' Foscari of Venice and the ITALS Master’s Degree in Teaching and promotion of the Italian language and culture to foreigners. They are both recognised by NARIC UK.
I also hold a Master of Science in Education obtained at Birkbeck, University of London. Final mark: Distinction. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have worked for ten years as MFL teacher of Italian and Spanish in schools and universities in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and England.
Besides teaching Italian, I have also organised cultural activities as cycles of Italian movies, literary conferences, seminar on Italian Literature and Cinema.
My professional experience has regarded various subjects, among which:
- pedagogic investigation about the foreign language teaching;
- foreign language teaching coordination;
- epistemological and practical implementation of the educational offer in marginalized contexts characterized by social deprivation and absence of schools;
- writing of didactic curricula;
- evaluation principles and criteria;
- organisation of workshops, conferences and roundtables with teachers, heads of schools, deans of universities to enhance the educational standards in Guatemala and promote a more inclusive educational conception;
- creation of strategic networks among various educational partners both locally and internationally for the provision of scholarships for students and teachers in need;
organisation of cultural events as cycles on Italian cinema, art exhibitions, conferences etc. - How much do you charge?
- 30 Pounds per hour for Spanish Language and Literature, French Spanish and Literature and History classes (reduced price for students to 25 Pounds)
25 Pounds per hour for Italian Language and Literature (reduced price to 20 Pounds for students) - Where do you teach?
- I can teach at students' homes. I live in the Camden area (WC1)
- When are you available?
- I am available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings from 2pm.
I am also available on Saturday afternoon after 1pm.
I am available on Monday morning. - Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I can teach at for any levels from teenagers to adults.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- At the moment I have a Criminal Bureau Certificate disclosure certificate, which a school I applied to asked me to obtain.
