Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach a range of subjects, from KS2 all the way up to A'Level.
My main areas of expertise are science and maths.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Batchelor of Science degree in Applied Biology.
Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
I am currently studying a Masters in Education.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 5 years experience in one to one tutoring.
I have taught for over 3 years in secondary school.

How much do you charge?
I have a sliding scale for tutoring which is:

A-level Biology £40.00/hr
GCSE £30.00/hr
Key Stage 3 £20.00/hr
Key Stage 2 £20.00/hr
Group lessons may be available at my home which are charged at a different rate.
Group lessons of two students (or more) can be negotiated.

Where do you teach?
I teach from home mainly, however, I may be able to teach at your home if time permits in the following areas: Tolworth, Surbiton, Berrylands, Epsom, Chessington, and Ewell.

When are you available?
I am available at various times, you would need to contact me so that we can discuss further.
I also teach through most of the school holidays.

Yes, as I work in a secondary school, this is a legal requirement.

I am a member of the GTC and also several educational science organisations.

Do you have a personal message for students?
Sometimes when we struggle to understand something we are not always given the time or the help we need. One to one tutoring is designed to help you understand, it is designed to give you the time you need to make sense of what you are learning. It is also a time for you to ask questions so that you know why you are asked to do things in a certain way.
One to one tutoring is your time to learn.
