- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I teach a variety of students ranging from a student who is currently studying for his G.C.S.E. in Japanese to a student who has recently left to work in Japan for 6 months on business. I also teach several students who study Japanese simply because they enjoy the language and culture and travel regularly to Japan.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- Studying Japanese can be a daunting task but it can be an extremely enjoyable language to learn. I prepare each lesson according to the particular needs of each student and use visual aids to accommodate different learnign styles. I believe in a focus on grammar so that students are able to build sentences and communicate in Japanese from the outset. I set regular homework (if you want them!) to ensure that learning between classes continues and that students are getting the best possible value for their money.
