Grade 8 Cello and Piano - What kind of experience do you have?
- I am a professional jazz singer & pianist, cellist, and a choral conductor, composer and musical director.
I have performed on 'Top of the Pops', and at top music venues such as The Royal Festival Hall and The Barbican. My music has been played on TV, radio, in theatrical and dance productions and at contemporary music festivals.
My students have included celebrities such as Joss Stone and sports presenter Gabbi Logan and I have helped many students pass auditions for West End musicals and theatre schools. - How much do you charge?
- One-off lessons cost £40 per hour, and £25 for a one-off half hour lesson.
£35 per hour if you book up 3 lessons in advance and pay for them in advance (to be taken on consecutive days or weeks). - Where do you teach?

I live in Covent Garden. Nearest tubes are either Covent Garden or Holborn. - When are you available?

- I have taught for many London music services such as Lambeth, Hackney, & Haringey, and I was Head of Centre for the Centre for Young Musicians (Kensington & Chelsea) from 2006-2009.
I currently teach adults at The City Lit adult education institute in Central London: cello, music theory, composition and songwriting - Do you have a personal message for students?
- I coach students from my home studio in Covent Garden, Central London, a 5 minute walk from either Covent Garden or Holborn tube stations.
I welcome students of every age and every level of experience. My methods are easy to follow and tried and tested over many years. Students often comment that that they learn more in an hour in a lesson with me, than they've learnt over months with other teachers!
In singing lessons I concentrate on improving students' technique, breathing, vocal range and tone and accompany them from the piano, if preparing for auditions.
Public speaking & elocution lessons: help improve your diction, gain confidence speaking in meetings, and improve your English accent.
I also teach GCSE/A level music and coach students for Grade 5 theory exams and help with Aural training.
