- Welcome to the Darlington First Class Learning Centre.
We support students in the local community with both maths and English tuition. - Classes
- Children follow a programme, the starting point being determined by an initial assessment. The maths programme is pure maths - from number recognition to GCSE algebra. It includes topics such as shape, time, measurement, area/perimeter, series, etc. We will also help with applied topics as required. We can provide practice papers for school exams (KS1, KS2, GCSE). Special help is offered for children approaching the Year 6 SATs, including practice with the timed mental tests, about which many children are nervous. The English programme helps to develop the key skills which will allow children to read fluently, spell accurately and write confidently. The development of consistent, joined handwriting is an integral part of the programme. The carefully structured modules include Reading and Spelling, Handwriting, Vocabulary Extension, Grammar and Punctuation, Comprehension, Planning and Independent Writing, Exam Preparation.

- We accept children from Pre-School, through KS1, KS2, KS3 and on to GCSE.

- Saturday 10.00am-12.00pm.
- Tuition Fees
- One child taking one subject is £50/month. A second subject, or a sibling, is £30/month. There may be a discount for further siblings.

- The Darlington First Class Learning Centre is situated in the All Saints' Millennium Centre.
From the town centre: progress along Coniscliffe Road, turn left into Hartford Road and then right into Ravensdale Road. We are on the left (approx 300 yards).
From the A1/A66: at the Reg Vardy roundabout take the exit onto B6280/Carmel Road South. Turn right onto Ravensdale Road (after approx 0.5 miles). We are on the right.
