In addition, I completed a 28,000-word dissertation at Princeton University entitled "Music in Victorian London: Collective Nostalgia and the Cultivation of National Tradition." I would be qualified to tutor students in British and general European history.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University in 2013 with an A.B. degree in music. I am now pursuing a Masters of Music at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

I have received high scores on American exams, including the SAT, LSAT, SAT Subject Tests (Biology, French, Physics, Math-I, English, History), and AP exams (including 8 top scores).

Recent prizes and awards include:
Helen and Isidore Sacks Prize (Princeton University, 2013)
President's Fund for Thesis Research Award (Princeton University, 2012)

How much do you charge?
I charge £30/hour for all tutoring lessons regardless of subject.
Where do you teach?
I typically travel to students' homes for lessons. However, it is also possible to meet in public libraries and cafes.
When are you available?
My schedule is generally flexible EXCEPT for the following times:

Tuesdays before 12pm
Fridays before 1pm
Some Thursdays 6-8pm
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I have taught students ranging from ages 7 to 55.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
As I am American, I am not familiar with the DBS.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I currently serve as Member Funding Adviser with Making Music, a London-based organisation. I serve as financial adviser to ensembles looking to raise funds for charitable musical performances.
Where and with whom did you train?
I received my undergraduate degree from Princeton University.

As a flautist, I have trained with Clare Southworth and Kate Hill in London. I have also had lessons and performed in masterclasses for flautists including William Bennett, Emmanuel Pahud, Jeffrey Khaner, Jeanne Baxtresser, Robert Langevin, and Carol Wincenc.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I want each student to excel by discovering a joy in learning. Whether students are exploring an extracurricular interest in music or preparing for a major academic exam, I will cater each tutoring session to individual students' strengths and needs.
