- We provide help, support and practice in Maths and English for children of all abilities aged 4 upwards. We aim to help a child to get nearer to his/her full potential than is possible via school alone.
- Classes
- Children follow a programme, the starting point being determined by an initial assessment. The maths programme is pure maths - from number recognition to GCSE algebra. It includes topics such as shape, time, measurement, area/perimeter, series, etc. We will also help with applied topics as required. We can provide practice papers for school exams (KS1, KS2, GCSE). Special help is offered for children approaching the Year 6 SATs, including practice with the timed mental tests, about which many children are nervous. The English programme helps to develop the key skills which will allow children to read fluently, spell accurately and write confidently. The development of consistent, joined handwriting is an integral part of the programme. The carefully structured modules include Reading and Spelling, Handwriting, Vocabulary Extension, Grammar and Punctuation, Comprehension, Planning and Independent Writing, Exam Preparation.
We are flexible in all we do and some of our students bring their homework to class and we are able to support that too. - Ages and Levels Covered
- We accept children from Pre-School, through KS1, KS2, KS3 and on to GCSE
- Opening Times
- Thursday 4:30pm - 6:30pm
- Tuition Fees
- One child taking one subject is £50/month. A second subject, or a sibling, is £30/month. There may be a discount for further siblings.
