Hello! I am a highly dedicated, focused and friendly professional musician and tutor based in Greenwich. I believe in helping students throughout their learning journey to achieve their goals.

- GCSE / A-Level Exam Preparation
- ABRSM Jazz Grades
- Italian (all levels)
- French (up to A Levels)
Tell me about your qualifications.
- ABRSM Grade 5 Classical Theory and Harp.

- BA Brunel University

- MA in Jazz Performance at Trinity College of Music

Whilst studying at Brunel I won the Sheridan instrumental Prize as well as first prize for the Intermediate Harp competition at the Bromley Music Festival. At Trinity College of Music I was the 2012 representing voice of Jazz department.
What kind of experience do you have?

I have been teaching in various facilities for the past 2 years. I have experience teaching one-to-one (mainly privately) as well as small groups and I am a regular tutor for NYJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra) rehearsals, leading a small group of 4-10 singers. (http://www.nyjo.org.uk/)
I have been recently offered to teach supply work at MTA (Musical Theatre Academy) in Islington. (http://www.themta.co.uk/mtas-venue/). I am closely mentored by Vocal Coach Nia Lynn.

As an active performing musician, I have worked with and for many of the finest musicians of this country including Anita Wardell, Soweto Kinch, Eska Mtungwazi, Liam Noble, Julian Siegal, Norma Winstone and Andrew McCormack.
I have also performed at Ronnie Scott's, the 606 Jazz Club as well as the Royal Festival Hall for the London Jazz Festival in 2008.

I am also involved in some very exciting projects: the London Vocal Project (http://www.londonvocalproject.com/), ensemble that has performed with major artists such as Bobby McFerrin and Kenny Wheeler as well as the samba percussion ensemble Rhythms of the City (http://rhythmsofthecity.com).
I also co-lead the up-and-coming function band "Masterblaster" performing for many corporate events (www.soundcloud.com/masterblaster-7)

I lead my own Quartet and am in the process of recording my debut album.

I am attentive towards every student's needs, aims and objectives, emphasising on dynamic, creative and playful learning.

The topics I teach for singing lessons are:

- Technique (allignment and sound production)
- Repertoire
- Improvisation
- Music Theory
- Aural Skills (http://noeminuti.wordpress.com/)
- Sight-Reading
- Rhythm

I can also teach basic use of Sibelius Software.

I am bilingual with English and Italian and also have a strong knowledge in French, as this language is spoken in my family in Italy.

I have graduated with 100% mark at the Liceo I. Vian near Rome on a Scientific-Linguistic High School Baccalaureat, studying English, French and German.

I have been a freelance French to Italian translator for many private corporations and schools after gaining a high mark on the French DELF exam board. In 2003 I have won a bursary to study French in Cannes for the summer at the 'Ecole de Langue Française' (http://www.ecole-langue-france.com/cannes_azur.htm)

For languages I can prepare students for all types of exams including:

- DELF/DALF (for French)
- IELTS (for English)
- CILS (for Italian)
- Writing
- Reading
- Conversation
How much do you charge?
At my home studio:

- 30 mins: £15
- 1 hour: £30 or £35 depending on the subject
- 2 hours: £60

At your house:

- As above plus travel expenses

I can also teach shared lessons (for 2 people)

- 1 hour: £40
- 2 hours: £70

(shared lessons at a student's house will be subject to additional travel expenses)
Where do you teach?
I usually teach from my own home studio in Greenwich, London and I am also willing to travel to all surrounding areas and throughout London to teach in students' homes as long as they can let me use their desk and keyboard.
When are you available?
I am very flexible. Please contact me to find a suitable time.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am happy to teach all ages and abilities.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare you for ABRSM Jazz grades and auditions for music scholarships or entry to schools / music colleges as well as the above mentioned DELF/DALF, IELTS and CILS.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
No, although I am in the process of having one for teaching at the Musical Theatre Academy.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I believe teaching languages online is possible although would prefer teaching Music one-to-one.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at Trinity College of Music under Nia Lynn, Pete Churchill, Simon Purcell, Liam Noble, Julian Siegal and Martin Speake.

I was trained in French by Nadeje Parla at the Liceo I. Vian

I am a mother tongue with English and Italian, although have studied with Patrizia Bellesi and Patrizia Misuri respectively at the Liceo I. Vian.
Tell me about some of your current students.
My current students range from the age of 12 to the age of 29. Most of my students are interested in learning songs (repertoire) and vocal technique. I believe in learning mostly by ear although and through practical exercises "off the page".

Most of my language students are interested in correct pronunciation and being able to speak as fluently as possible, although some are preparing for exams that involve reading and writing.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Please contact me if you are interested in making progress through playful practice. I thoroughly enjoy teaching all ages and abilities and am looking forward to discovering much about your creativity and curiosities.
