Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach maths currently and can also teach Spanish as I have a degree in languages.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I completed my PGCE in teaching maths as part of the Teach First graduate scheme, which I passed as 'outstanding' and I am currently completing a Masters in Teaching and Learning at Manchester University.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught maths in a local secondary school for over two years. The school where I have taught is a 'national challenge' school and so I have experience in creating engaging and effective lessons in variety of ways. I have a plethora of good and outstanding formal observations where it has been emphasised that I build great relationships with students. Prior to this I taught English and Spanish in China for one year as a school teacher in addition to home tutoring.

How much do you charge?
A travel cost will be added if there is a need to travel. Please contact me if you would like to negotiate discounts for groups; longer lessons etc.

Where do you teach?
I can either teach at my home or at students' homes in nearby areas: Guiseley; Menston; Burley in Wharfedale; Yeadon; Ben Rhydding; Ilkley; Horsforth; Otley; Shipley; Baildon.

When are you available?
I am available 7 days a week. I can do extra sessions in all holidays except the Christmas holiday.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and will adapt teaching materials according to the needs of the student. I teach up to higher GCSE at present.

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I consider each of my students personally and work with a student to see how they can get the most out of the tutoring I offer. I will always aim to work with what the student wants/needs to improve on most, and will use my own knowledge of the subject to work out how best to achieve this improvement.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes I hold an up to date CRB certificate.
