Which subject(s) do you teach?
Mathematics with a focus on GCSE and A-level preparing for summer exams. I have also worked on private sector education initiatives providing consultancy on syllabuses from KS3 through to A2.

I am also happy to tutor students preparing for 11+ and 13+ exams or younger students simply looking to improve confidence their own abilities.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I attained batchelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham in 2006. I studied a broad spectrum of material from applied areas such as Newtonian and Lagrangian Mechanics to purer disciplines such as Game Theory and Topology.

What kind of experience do you have?
I tutored GCSE and A-Level students throughout my time at university and have worked with numerous students at various levels since. I am more than happy to pass on references for this work.

I also spent my gap year as an English Language Tutor in Japan and have coached football to various age groups.

How much do you charge?
Tutorials are £35 per hour for all levels inclusive of travel.

An additional charge of £10 per person will be made for group tutorials so the cost of a tutorial for 2 people would be £45.

For every succesful referral you make of my work to a friend you will be entitled to 1 tutorial free of charge.

Where do you teach?
I am most interested in taking on students that live within an easy commute of Clapham or Victoria but would consider work in other areas of London too. I currently teach students as far north as Barnet and as far West as Ealing.

When are you available?
I have a flexible schedule and other tutees so I will need to discuss this with you.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all levels up to undergraduate with a focus on GCSE and A-level students.

Yes I have an enhanced CRB Certificate. Disclosure number 001265581259.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at Vantis Plc in the London city office.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently working with students from age 9 to 16 and of various abilities with two having mild special needs (dyspraxia and asperges syndrome). I consider that the experience of teaching these students has improved me as a tutor as it has been more of a confidence building exercise than an exam focused assault on a syllabus. I can also pass on references for this work.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I am passionate about maths! Sad I know but you get the benefit of someone who is keen to teach the subject and has the patience and understanding required to do so. Also, I have been through GCSEs, A-levels and my degree course in the (relatively) recent past so am aware of the challenges the current syllabuses present and common problems for students from both personal experience and my tutoring.
