I teach Mathematic at Key Stage 1 - 4 level, 11+, 13+Entrance, GCSE level (Foundation and Higher Tiers) and A Level

Tell me about your qualifications.
Mathematics Bsc (Portsmouth University)

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been tutoring Maths for many years, prior to which I was working in local schools in Southampton where my focus was tutoring small groups of pupils who experience difficulties with Maths. I also tutored individuals and groups of students in preparation for their GCSE exams and was very glad see excellent results!

How much do you charge?
All level up to key stage 4 £20, GCSE Exams £22 and A Level £23

Where do you teach?
I usually teach in the student's home but am happy to have tutoring sessions at my home in West End, Southampton.

When are you available?
I am available from 10.00 to 20.00 weekdays and from 10:00 to 13:00 on a Saturday.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am currently teaching students with an age range of 9 - 20 years old but will teach from 7 years old to adults.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes - Full valid CRB certificate ( From March 2011)

Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently tutoring 11 students, from year 6 to As level and some students from Southampton council.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I believe everyone has the skills and abilities to be good at Maths, for some it may be more difficult or harder to see but a understanding and patient teacher can bring those skills out of all of us that are willing to give Maths a try. I am a friendly and very reliable tutor who enjoys Maths and seeing other succeed in this subject. I provide tailor-made sessons, designed specifically for the individual in mind. I have tutored Maths for several years and have helped various students improve their performance and skills. I have a variety of techniques which I believe assist learning and development of all students.
