Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach 11+, 13+ CE, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths GCSE. Biology and Chemistry A level.

Tell me about your qualifications.
BSc (Hons) Biology and Chemistry
PGCE Secondary Science (specialising in Chemistry)
M.Phil in Human Genetics
M.Sc in computing and information Systems

What kind of experience do you have?
Over 10 years teaching in secondary schools and over 20 years as a private tutor teaching maths and science.

How much do you charge?
£30 per lesson 1 to 1 at my address. Also do 2-1 tuition for £40 per hour and will do groups.

Where do you teach?
I teach at home only so student will have to travel to me. I live in Groombridge which is just outside Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough.

When are you available?
weekdays after school, weekends and school holidays.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
9years to 18yrs

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes, I have a recent one.

Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I will arrange for powerpoints presentations for the lessons to be shown to the student and download worksheets for them to complete.

Where and with whom did you train?
Qualified in 1991 at Keele University

Do you have a personal message for students?
I am a qualified secondary school teacher teaching Science and Maths in a local school. I have experience of 11+ teaching for the past 2 years with a good success rate. I am now in a position to increase my teaching hours and take on more students. I am also available for 11+ and 13+ common entrance exams for the maths and science papers. I can do all the sciences to GCSE and Maths as well as Biology and Chemistry to A level.
