- Hello!
My name is Elisabeth Bulbena and I am from Barcelona. I did my full education in Spanish and I came to London six years ago.
I have two university Degrees, several professional qualifications and a three years Diploma in Pedagogy (Education).
I am bilingual, my native languages being Spanish and Catalan. However I am also fully fluent in Italian as I have studied in Italy during four years. I also speak and write French as it is very similar than Catalan and I am a beginner in German. Therefore with six languages surrounding my life it is clear that I enjoy learning new words!
But the most important is that I love teaching. I enjoy transmitting my love of languages to my students and give them the tools to be able to communicate to others. I believe to learn a language is like acquiring a new passport that allows you to immerse into a new culture and also to interact with others that belong to it. Despite the Anglicization of our globalized world, languages are still a necessary tool if you want to understand and be understood in a lot of contexts. The richness of a culture its fully express in the use of its words!
I also think that to learn languages is a must for youngsters and adults to get a secure place in the current unstable professional world. With strong competition for every vacancy, the ability to speak foreign languages can make the employer to opt for a particular candidate. To speak a foreign language has become a must qualification!
Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world and it is increasingly becoming more used in several contexts. It is also a beautiful Latin-rooted language with a long history and literature associated with it.
If you are interested on learning the language or need help on your A levels or GCSE and would like to learn with a NATIVE SPEAKER just contact me at 07804030162 or at bethbulbena@hotmail.com
I'd be delighted to share the richness of my language with you!
Kind regards
Elisabeth
