Welcome! I am a professional piano teacher and a qualified music therapist, with extensive experience of working with children at all ages and all abilities. I love teaching and am patient. I can offer a consultation lesson at reduced rate.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a MA in Music Therapy, Merit, with piano as my principal instrument, from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I also have a BMus, high 2:1, from King's College London and a DipABRSM diploma in Piano Performance. I got merits in grade 8 piano and percussion when I was 13 and 14 respectively.

I got full marks in two modules of Mathematics and achieved an overall A grade in A-Level. I have experience teaching Maths at Kumon Centre and a Saturday School, supporting students up to A level standard.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have 8 years of experience working with students from 4-70, from beginners' to advanced level. I am able to create a supportive and positive learning experience for my students, and have helped many of them, who previous considered giving up the piano prior having lessons with me, to enjoy learning and achieve fantastic results. All my students are awarded with either Distinction or Merit in their exams. I have experience giving individual and group lessons, teaching in school and privately at home.
How much do you charge?
For music lessons, I charge £30 for 1 hour lesson, £25 for 45 min and £18 for 30 minutes.

For Mathematics lessons, I charge £25 per hour.
Where do you teach?
I teach at my home in Kennington SE11 or students' homes and I can travel to Kennington, Elephant and Castle, Vauxhall, Lambeth North, Battersea, Pimlico, Victoria, Westminster, Waterloo, Oxford Circus, Green Park, Chalk Farm, Swiss Cottage. Other places within 30 minutes travel from Vauxhall or Kennington may also be possible.

Music: All ages, from beginners to Grade 8.

Mathematics: up to GCSE

Tell me about some of your current students.
My students come from all walks of life: I have students from high achieving private schools to four year-olds starting the piano for fun, from adults learning piano for leisure to pupils aiming to study music at university level. I have also acquired skills in supporting students with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities through my music therapy training.
