In the 2009 North London Music Festival I was both the Recital Winner and Premier Challenge Cup winner. And this year won the Multi District Lions Music Competition. I have also worked at Junior Guildhall for three years and been a member of Social Staff on the National Childrens Orchestra residential courses.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am very happy to teach oboe and cor anglais to all ages and levels, from very beginner to grade 8 standard. Recorder, piano and music theory I teach from beginner up until grade 5.

both ABRSM and trinity guildhall exams
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes, I have two for working at Junior Guildhall and National Children's Orchestra
Where and with whom did you train?
I am currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for a Bachelor of Music degree, and I study oboe with Gordon Hunt and Alison Teale. I also receive cor anglais lessons from Jane Marshall. And before this I studied with Irene Pragnell at the Junior Guildhall for six years.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am a very enthusiastic teacher and aim to make my pupils enjoy learning music, be it just for fun or preparing for music exams. I am very happy to teach both beginner and advanced students, as well as adult re-learners, and ensure that all my pupils learn the correct way to make sure that no bad habits are picked up. I give consultation lessons so if you would like a lesson or just some useful advice then do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
