PGCE - Insitute of Education - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have taught Psychology A-level, GCSE psychology and sociology at a sixth form college and an FE college for the last 5 years. I have been psychology course team leader for the past 4 years. My students have a wide range of abilities yet my success rate for my last cohort was 100% (Bench mark of 75%). I attend regular internal and external training to ensure my subject knowledge and teaching skills are up to date.

£25 per hour at my home
£30-35 per hour if travel to you (depending on distance)

- I currently have 3 classes (70 students in total) of AS-A2 psychology students of ranging ability
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- Philippa is a very thorough teacher. She has prepared me really well for the exams. I really understand what the assessment objectives are so know exactly what the examiner is looking for. She is very patient if I don't understand something straight away and always explains it in a way that I can understand e.g. the bodily response to stress. She helped me get my A grade in the January exams. I would highly recommend Philippa to any student :-)
