- Fully-qualified experienced language teacher offers one-to-one and group lessons. Lessons via Skype are available.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach Russian at all levels
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have MA in Linguistics, Professional Diploma (Level 7) in teaching, PGCE, Certificate in teaching Russian as a foreign language. I am a member of professional teaching organisation IfL and have been the chair of NATECLA.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have worked in various fields of teaching: I taught in schools in Russia, on language courses, in FE colleges in the UK. For a number of years I taught on CertTESOL and DTTLS courses in Manchester.
I am currently employed by Manchester Adult Education Services as an English Language teacher. - How much do you charge?
- My live/Skype one-to-one lessons are £30.00 per hour with the minimum of 1,5 hrs. I also have shared classes option where you can share the time and the cost with another student. Another option is lessons in small groups. These are run in Altrincham on Wednesdays from 7:00 till 9:00 pm. The cost of the group lessons is £10.00 per hour with the minimum booking of 4 lessons.
I also run a Russian Conversation Club in Manchester. - Where do you teach?
- I teach at home in Timperley, in Alrincham on Wednesdays and Skype lessons are also available.
- When are you available?
- I am available weekdays and weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach University students, business people, adults and provide in-company training.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I prepare for GCSE Russian, A-level Russian and for Russian Language Centre certificate in Russian
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Because I do not deal with children, I do not require CRB
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- You pay for blocks of at least 4 sessions. We arrange the time, length and level and the lessons begin. There is an option of you choosing a book or you can use my materials.
