Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Violin, Piano and Music Theory.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BMus (Hons) 2:1 in Music Performance (Violin). I also have ABRSM grade 8 in both piano and violin (distinction) and grade 5 theory (distinction). I also have grade A in Music A level.

What kind of experience do you have?
During my studies at music college, I chose to put emphasis on music education and led a variety of outreach projects and workshops for children in London and Kent. I am Head of Strings at Babington House School in Chislehurst where I teach individuals and run the school's string orchestra; I do freelance chamber group coaching for secondary school children in the Bromley area and I have private pupils.

How much do you charge?
I charge £25 per hour for lessons at my home and up to £30 an hour for lessons that take place at the student's home. For half hour lessons I charge £12.50 for lessons at my house and up to £15 if I travel to the lesson.

Where do you teach?
I teach at home, which is a 7 minute walk from Elmstead Woods Station and on the 314 bus route. I am also very happy to travel to your home.

When are you available?
I am flexible.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach violin from beginner to advanced level. I teach piano and theory to grade 5.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I belong to The Musicians' Union.

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained with Gina McCormack at Trinity College of Music in London.

Do you have a personal message for students?
Learning an instrument can be incredibly rewarding and can bring so much joy. Providing that you are prepared to practise consistently and regularly, you will reap the rewards and really enjoy the learning journey and the challenges.
