Which subject(s) do you teach?
I have 6 years experience of Reiki. I am qualified to teach all four levels of Usui/Tibetan Reiki (Reiki 1 to Master Teacher level) and all three levels (Reiki 1 to Reiki Master Teacher) in Karuna Ki, Karmic and Celtic Reiki. I am also teach Using Crystals with Reiki, Reiki Meditation and Reiki refresher courses. Most workshops are 2 full days. Master teacher is 2 and a half days, reiki refresher is 1 day. All students are supported and followed up after attending the courses. I have also started teaching Meditation for Beginners which is a series of 6 two hour workshops and Reiki Meditation for those attuned to Reiki 2 or above. This is a series of 4 two hour workshops.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I qualified as a Reiki Master Teacher in December 2007. I have a teaching and assessing course from when I was nursing (enb 998). I have just completed the Preparation for Teaching in the Life Long Learning Sector Certificate. I qualified as a Karuna Ki Reiki Master Teacher and Karmic Reiki Master teacher in March 2009 and as a Celtic Reiki Master in September 2009. I also have a Crystal healing Diploma and a Psychic Development Diploma both of which I completed in 2007.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have 6 years experience of Reiki, 3 of those years were having Reiki treatments, and 1 year as a Reiki practitioner and 2 years as a Reiki Master Teacher. I have many years experience of meditation practice and have attended a variety of meditation workshops. I have 23 years experience of coaching, presenting and training through working as a nurse and a medical sales representative. Throughout my nursing experience I put together work books and other information to teach student nurses and junior qualified staff. I have transferred all these skills to teaching Reiki, Meditation and Crystal workshops.

How much do you charge?
Reiki 1 is £120, Reiki 2 is £150 , Reiki 3a is £250 , Reiki Master Teacher is £300 , and the Reiki Refresher is £70. As the courses fill up quickly, I ask for a £30 non returnable deposit for Reiki 1 and 2 and the Reiki Refresher. I ask for a £50 pound non-returnable deposit for Reiki 3a and Master Teacher . I charge £40 for the Using Crystals with reiki course which is comprised of 4 two hour sessions, £40 for Reiki meditation workshop which comprises of 4 two hour sessions and £45 for the Meditation for Beginners course which comprises of 6 two hour sessions..

i will travel to do a course but need a minimum of 6 students to do this or alternatively there will be a minimum 50 pound surcharge to cover travel expenses, depending on the distance

Where do you teach?
I teach at home or at Stressless Therapies, Marston Vale Nurseries, A421 Woburn Road, Lidlington, MK43 0NL. I will travel up to 50 miles to teach Reiki for a group of 6 or more students (max 10 students). If the group is less than 6 then there will be a minimum £5 surcharge to cover travel expenses depending on the distance and the size of the group.I will also travel up to 50 miles to teach other workshops.

When are you available?
Currently most workshops are held over a weekend between 10am and 4pm. I teach evenings for those people who cannot attend at a weekend. The meditation workshops and crystals with reiki workshops are run from 10am until 12pm on a saturday over a period of 4 to 6 weeks

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from 16 years old upwards (no upper age limit) to all levels of Reiki and for meditation.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Yes - the Independent Professional Therapists International.

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained with Maggi Marciniak in Mitlon Keynes for levels 1 and 2 and trained with Karmen Nicholas in St Neots for levels 3a and 3b. I completed my Celtic Reiki training with Karmen Nicholas.

Tell me about some of your current students.
One of my current students said, "I would recommend Sarah as a teacher to anyone who wants to learn reiki. She has a very calm relaxed manner and is extremely approachable. She is enthusiastic and passionate with infinite patience and nothing is too much trouble for her. I really enjoyed the weekend and came away full of positive energy. Do you have a personal message for students?
My aim with my workshops is that my students are empowered to use Reiki and meditation as a way of life. I like to ensure that my workshops are fun, relaxed and informative. I want my students to feel that they contact me with any queries and like them to come to the Reiki Shares after they have completed the workshops so that they can share their experiences with other reiki students. I will be their Reiki Master for as long as they want me to be.
