Interview
Which subject(s) do you teach?
All types of bass guitar as well as music theory.
Tell me about your qualifications.
Higher Diploma in Popular Music Performance (Bass)
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been playing for 10 years, teaching for 5. Performed all around London with both cover and original bands. To me studying music is pointless without being able to perform live.
How much do you charge?
£20 per hour or 45 minutes, £10 per half an hour. A travel fee of £5 will be applied on half an hour lessons.
Where do you teach?
I live in Kilburn, north west London but I am willing to travel reasonable distances.
When are you available?
Total flexibility but prefer teaching after 5pm.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
My students are not normally older than 14 (beginner and intermediate level). Although I would be more than happy to teach older people.
Do you have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Not yet but hope to get one soon.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am friendly but at the same time determined. The lessons will be tailored around pupils in a very progressive and patient way. I will try and do my best to meet the pupil's interests without interfering with the normal teaching schedule.
