Personal Message
Hello, I'm Natalie and I am a postgraduate-qualified teacher. I teach on an individual and pair/group basis. I charge £20 per hr or £10 for 30mins. Please don't hesitate to contact me for any further information :)
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Clarinet, Sax, Flute, Piano, Recorder, Music Theory
I also tutor GCSE, A Level and University level Music. I majored in Performance in my undergraduate degree.
I can help/assist with essay and assignment writing and I also proofread.
Tell me about your qualifications.
Graduate Diploma in Education - Secondary - Music and Instrumental Music
Bachelor of Music with Honours
A Level Music
GCSE Music
Grade VIII Clarinet (ABRSM)
Grade VI Piano (ABRSM)
Grade V Theory (ABRSM)
What kind of experience do you have?
As a performer I have played with many wind bands and orchestras. I have performed at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican, Ham House and Hampton Court Palace. I have toured to Brittany, Venice and Germany. I have also performed in amateur musical productions and have worked as a session musician.

As a teacher I have good experiecne of teaching a variety of ages and abilities. My students have varied from pre-school children to those who are retired. I have successfully presented pupils for exams and I have taught pupils purely for the pleasure of learning an instrument! I have taught at Grubser's Academy, through Kingston Music and Arts Service, Hammersmith and Fulham Music Service and at St Dominic's Sixth Form College.

I am currently a Supply Teacher, working in Primary and Secondary schools in all subject areas across all Key Stages.
How much do you charge?
£20 per hr - I like to keep my rate as low as possible to make music and learning as accessible as possible. I am happy to teach in pairs/groups also.

If you would prefer 30 mins, the rate is £10. For very little ones, I teach for 15-30mins for £10.
Where do you teach?
I teach at home because all my resources and materials are to hand. This always ensures a more beneficial lesson as I can't carry all of my resources around at all times. Also, it keeps the rate lower as there is no need for travel reimbursement.
When are you available?
Please contact me to discuss this and please do get in touch at your earliest convenience; I am quite booked up and therefore I have to work on a first-come-first-serve basis. I am available in the week-day evenings. Unfortunately I do not teach at weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and abilities, everybody is always welcome!!!!!!
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I will only prepare students for qualifications if this is what they want!
We can choose the best exam board for the student if the student wishes to take exams.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes and a certificate in Child Protection Awareness.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Via e-mail / Skype
Where and with whom did you train?
Griffith University (Queensland, Australia) - Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) - Music and Instrumental Music

Kingston University London - Bachelor of Music with Honours

Privately with Victoria Soames-Samek (Clarinet)
Do you have a personal message for students?
I adapt to the individual, making sure they are having fun, enjoying what they are learning and ensuring that they are getting the most from their tuition! This is regardless of their age and ability! I have an entirely relaxed and student-centred approach, using pedagogy that ensures all students achieve their very best.
