- I am a professional trumpeter and brass teacher living in the South West of England.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I am a professional trumpet player and teacher and specialize mainly in teaching the trumpet up to all levels but I also teach all other brass instruments up to grade 5 standard.
- Tell me about your qualifications.

- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have a vast wealth of experience playing and teaching professionally over the last 40 years. I have been a member of a number of professional orchestras including National Orchestra of Wales, the Halle, London Philharmonic and more recently the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
I have also taught and taken masterclasses at the Royal College of Music,Trinity college of music and Royal Marines school of music in Portsmouth and I have been an external examiner for Trinity. I am also a regular tutor for the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain and European Youth Music Week. - How much do you charge?
- My rate is £32 an hour or £16 for half hour. I am prepared to travel providing my travel expenses are covered.
- Where do you teach?
- I mainly teach at my home in Wimborne in Dorset which is close proximity to Bournemouth and Poole. I am prepared to travel a radius of 20 miles but I asked that my travel expenses are covered.
- When are you available?
- I have quite a flexible schedule but I mainly teach evenings and weekends, however this is negotiable.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach all ages, beginners to advanced.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I have prepared students up to diploma standard and all Associated Board Grades.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes i have an up-to-date CRB disclosure certificate

- The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM)

- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I have had a number of students over the years who have gone on the study music at either university or at music college and others who have got into the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I have always had a very fresh outlook towards my profession and would hope to pass on this enthusiasm to my pupils.
