Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach French Horn from beginner to advanced and trumpet, tuba and tenor horn form beginner to Grade 5. Returning players and adult students most welcome.
How much do you charge?
My basic rate is £24 per hour and I give 30, 40 or 50 minutes lessons as well as the full hour. Reduced rates for the unwaged or shared lessons.
Where do you teach?
I have a purpose built music studio.
When are you available?
I am available at all times except when I am away from home playing.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from beginner children to mature adults.
Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
Yes, I have an enhanced CRB certificate.

I have a Master of Music in Performance Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Performance.

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the Royal Military School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music with postgraduate studies at Brunel University.
What kind of experience do you have?
I was principal horn of the RAF Central Band and have played with many professional orchestras including the London Synphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia and was also principal horn of the Sadlers Wells Opera Orchestra.
Tell me about some of your current students.
Three of my students have gone on to Music College this year.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Horn playing is both challengigng and fun and has endlesss possibilities for enjoyable music making.
