What kind of experience do you have?
Previously, Julia was teaching in sculpture part time at Leeds University and in mixed media fine art at various London Universities and in Sussex. Prior to that, Julia was Course leader of a National Diploma in Fine Arts in Sussex for 9 years, Her students included a mix of age ranges including mature students who wanted to re-train, or were aiming to go to University.

In Europe Julia has taught in the UK and Italy and designed a project for an International EU funded project with FE & HE partners in Finland, Sweden and Belgium, which was highly successful. In Italy she taught at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Turin, where she co-ordinated a drawing program for the degree design departments. She is fluent in Italian, oral and written and has a fair understanding of French and Spanish. Many of her ex-students live and work abroad now.

How much do you charge?
London Art Portfolio runs one-to-one tutorials; group art classes, short 5 day courses and ongoing 6 week courses, 2 days per week throughout the year. These are brilliant for getting you back to art at any time of the year and for building up your portfolio.

London Art Portfolio offers the following portfolio preparation courses to international students & UK students.

ONE-ONE TUTORIALS

-£50 per hour, minimum 2 hour tutorials are advised. £450 per block of ten


6 WEEK ART AND DESIGN PORTFOLIO PREPARATION COURSE (3 days per week) £900

-2 days contact teaching, 1 day independent study (studio space supplied onsite)


10 WEEK EVENING ART AND DESIGN PORTFOLIO PREPARATION COURSE £300

- Tuesday Evenings 6.30 - 9pm


10 WEEK MILLINERY HAT MAKING COURSE

- Tuesday Evenings 6.30 - 9pm (Fashion photography shoot included)


EVENING WEEKLY WORKSHOPS:

- Life Drawing (Tuesday Evenings: 6.30 - 9pm)

- Fashion Illustration (Wednesday Evening: 6.30 - 9pm)

- Drawing and Painting Skills (Thursday Evenings: 6.30 - 9pm)

Tuition is ran from my art studios based @ 185 Tower Bridge Road, SE1 2UF

I am available throughout the year. Clients would need to contact Julia Dennis to find out available dates and times for bookings.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
Courses are suitable for complete beginners to advanced level!

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I have an Enhanced Disclosure CRB certificate.
