- I am a friendly and experienced tutor with a wealth of experience of teaching biology and biological sciences.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- A and AS level Biology, Biochemistry and Human Biology (all exam boards). I also teach Pharmacology, Microbiology, Genetics, Physiology and Neuroscience to BSc and MSc level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have four A levels (Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and French), a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from King's College London, and a PhD in Pharmacology from King's College London. I currently work at King's College London doing biomedical science research. I have completed a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice from King's college London. I have both lectured and examined at King's College London, St George's - University of London and Royal Holloway - University of London.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have over seven years experience in tutoring students
- How much do you charge?
- £30 for a one hour lesson, with extra for non-local (i.e. outside Croydon or areas mentioned) travel.
- Where do you teach?
- I can teach from home in East Croydon or at the student's home in Croydon, Norwood, Streatham, Clapham Junction, London Bridge, Dulwich, Brockley, or New Cross Gate.
- When are you available?
- I am available after 6pm (until 9pm) Mon-Friday and also some weekends (with prior arrangement).

- A and AS level students and undergraduate students
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- A levels, AS levels and undergraduate degrees.

- Member of the British Society for Gene Therapy and the British Pharmacological Society
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I currently have three regular students, two of whom are A-Level biology students (OCR and EdExcel) and one of whom is a mature student who wishes to learn more about human physiology. I also have two students (doing university degrees) who meet infrequently to discuss areas of their course they are finding challenging.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I am a friendly and experienced tutor, 34 years old, and I have a wealth of experience of teaching biology and biological sciences, as I current work in these fields. I try to maintain enthusiasm for the subject by using a variety of teaching styles, which can be blended to suit individual learners.
