- Scars and bruises prove that we survived. That something more can be done.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- -Spanish
-Philosophy (Philosophy, Citizenship, Ethics...)
-Writing (Essay writing, Creative writing, Proof reading...) - Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a Spanish degree in Philosophy (5 years, 2005-2010). Also I did a masters degree in Education for Secondary School. Additionally, I have attended a course at the Instituto Cervantes in London which allows me to teach Spanish to adults (PTLLS Award).
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I've been teaching privately for 8 years. Being a proficient student, teaching was easy and rewarding for me. I've been teaching both privately and with small groups. Moreover, I have been teaching in summer camps (groups up to 20 people) and in a secondary school during my qualification process.
- How much do you charge?
- Usually 25.00-30.00 £ per hour, depending on the level. I charge extra (5,00 £) for longer distances (beyond an hour by bus and/or tube), depending on the hours per week ratio. Prices can also be reduced when teaching 2+ people simultaneously.
- Where do you teach?
- I live in SE3, so I'm glad to teach in towns like Eltham, Woolwich, Charlton, Lewisham, Blackheath, Greenwich, Welling and its surroundings, but also in the city centre. I would normally teach at students' homes and, in case distance is a problem, in public and quiet spots like local libraries. Normally I'd travel for an hour maximum, but I can be flexible with that.
- When are you available?
- I can be available every day, mornings or evenings, just by booking it beforehand.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Any level and ages. From children to business people, from beginners to experts.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- GCSE, A-Levels, DELE exams
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- I'm having a CRB Enhanced Check done as two agencies (Greater London Tutors and Holland Park Tuition) suggested me to. Hopefully, the paperwork will be sorted out by April.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- I can assist and tutor students via email and skype if need be. Personally, I'm not much into online tutoring, but I'm available for that if the student wants me to.
