- Hi. My name is Nacera and I am a native, qualified teacher of French. I have lived in London for 15 years and have been teaching French to adults and children for 5 years.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- French language. French grammar. French conversation.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have the baccalaureat qualifications from Lyon and then graduated from the Univeristy of Lyon with the Diplôme d´Etudes Universitaires Générales (DEUG) and I then follwed this with the one year maîtrise in English and French languages.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- Following my university education, I worked for 3 years in Ecole Groupe Painlevé and I now have a private client base of a wide range of adult and young students in the local area.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £25 per hour lesson, teaching from home.
I charge £15 per 1/2 hour lesson, teaching from home.
I charge £30 per hour lesson, teaching at the student's home.
I charge £20 per 1/2 hour lesson, teaching at the student's home. - Where do you teach?
- I teach at home and at students' homes. The local areas in which I teach include: SW1, Chelsea, Battersea, Victoria, Pimlico, Knightsbridge, Kings Rd, Fulham, Putney, Mayfair, Park Lane, Marble Arch, Edgware Rd, Marylebone, Paddington, Bayswater, Kilburn, Queensway, Notting Hill Gate, Holland Park, Hyde Park, Belgravia, Westminster.
- When are you available?
- I operate very flexible hours both day times and evenings. I also teach during school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach from age 5 to adults. I teach all levels from beginners up to A-level preparation and university undergraduates.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I prepare students for school work including GCSE and A-level.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- No. The children who I teach are always accompanied by parents or guardian.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- I do not undertake online tutoring at the moment.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I currently teach a 5-year-old in Church, Notting Hill Gate. I also teach several teenagers for GCSE preparation and revision in Victoria & Pimlico. I also teach an Italian adult on a weekly basis and a professional singer who needs French language for their recital programmes. They bring me lyrics to their classical repertoire and we work on pronunciation and translation of texts.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I have a very down-to-earth personality and approach and have a love of my native French language which I impart with great enthusiasm. I am open to answering any questions that my students may have and, above all, I am extremely patient.
