- I am a freelance viola player living in Manchester.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- Violin, viola, and chamber music.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a Bmus (hons) from the RNCM and am just completing my Masters in Viola Performance also at RNCM.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching violin and viola for years both privately and for organisations such as Yorkshire Young Musicians. I have experience with all abilities and ages. I also have experience teaching chamber music at Pro Corda music courses.
As well as teaching I also play with my string quartet, the Zelkova Quartet, and Manchester Camerata. - How much do you charge?
- £25/hr
£15/half hr
If I need to travel outside of Manchester travel costs may need to be negotiated. - Where do you teach?
- Either at home in Manchester or I am willing to travel to students' homes. I will happily travel to the Greater Manchester areas.
- When are you available?
- My schedule is flexible so I would hopefully be able to fit around you.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Everyone is welcome!
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- If students wish to work towards exams then I enter them for the ABRSM syllabus.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I studied under Louise Lansdown at RNCM during my undergraduate course and Asdis Valdomarsdottir for my Masters, also at RNCM.
