Thetutorpages.com announced as Finalist in UK Business Awards 2014

Thetutorpages.com has been announced as a finalist in the FSB WorldPay UK Business Awards 2014. The Tutor Pages – which provides the UK’s most comprehensive website for private tuition – beat stiff competition to become the Greater London Online Business Finalist.

The company will now go through to the national finals held on 21st May, where the overall winners will be announced by Karren Brady CBE at a Gala event at London’s Waldorf Hilton Hotel.

Company Director, Henry Fagg, was delighted that The Tutor Pages was recognized by the judges. ‘Every year we help thousands of parents and students find the tutor they need at no cost, and in addition provide thousands of free articles written by tutors on every topic imaginable to help them succeed in their learning. The Tutor Pages is a good news story: a testament to the positive power of the Internet.’

Henry also commented on the increased competition for the award in 2014. ‘London saw the biggest increase, with entries for the award up 122% on last year. I’m especially proud that we were chosen as the London Online Business Finalist, considering the vibrant community of start-up companies that London is famous for.’
