While the BMAT and UKCAT are seen as daunting, unfamiliar tests that are the most challenging part of the medical school application process, there is very little difference between these university entrance tests and anything else you've prepared for - the only thing that varies is the amount of preparation you do.

UKCAT and BMAT both have set repeating themes that come up, just as school exams do, and so once these can be recognised, learnt and dealt with, these tests become much more manageable.

In order to do some practice and get the feel for these tests I strongly suggest the "Get into Medical School. 400 BMAT Practice Questions" and "Get into Medical School - 600 UKCAT Practice Questions" books, both of which can be found on Amazon and are worth their weight in gold in terms of the strength they will add to your test scores.
