Personal Message
I have worked on both sides of the industry as an Assistant Agent at a Talent Agency in London, a freelance Casting Assistant, and a professional Actress. I love to teach and am confident I can help anyone looking to improve their audition technique.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I specialise in Audition Technique- whether that be entry to Drama School or Theatre, TV & Film auditions. I also coach and film Self Tape auditions. These tapes are of a professional standard and can be used to apply to agents.

Acting for Screen technique is taught with with a professional quality camera and playback so that we can watch and assess the performance together and improve on it.
I offer Industry Advice to those who require it with regards to head shots, CV's, showreels and/or applications to Drama Schools and Talent Agents.

Letter writing, CV presentation and interview technique is also part of the process of succeeding in this industry and something that is rarely taught to young actors.
My aim is to help you identify you Unique Selling Point and refine your whole package as well as your talent.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I trained at Mountview Theatre School in Acting, TV Acting and Musical Theatre part-time for several years before doing a Degree in Performing Arts at London Metropolitan and then going on to train on the 3 year BA Acting at Drama Centre London from which I graduated with first Class Honours. Drama Centre graduates include Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, Colin Firth, Emilia Clarke and Penelope Wilton. Whilst in training I was nominated for the Carlton Hobbs Award, then selected to compete against representatives from every drama school in Britain for the Laurence Olivier Bursary Award- I won First Prize and went on to get signed by Independent Talent Group who also represent Gillian Anderson, Sophie Turner, Rachel Weisz, Christina Hendricks and Andrea Riseborough.
What kind of experience do you have?
Prior to training to become a professional actress at Drama Centre London I worked as an assistant agent at Talent Agency Jewell Wright Limited (formerly Ladida). I also worked regularly assisting various TV Film and Theatre Casting Directors at The Acting Suite. I have since become resident Casting Director for Player Playwrights whilst continuing to work as a professional actress. Credits include: Perfect Match by Gary Owen (Watford Palace), Long Story Short (Squint/Charing Cross Theatre), En Folkefiende (Pleasance Edinburgh), Winter Hill (Octagon Bolton) Humans (CH4/AMC), Uncle (BBC3), Maigret (ITV).
How much do you charge?
I teach from my home in North London at £40 per hour. If you are late for your lesson I may not be able to give you the full hour but will always do my best. I am happy to go over an hour if we are in the middle of something for an extra 10 minutes free of charge.

If you would like to share a session with a friend I can give you each 30 mins for £25 each. It is incredibly useful to watch someone else's improvement- this will teach you how to take direction and learn what is effective/ineffective from an objective standpoint. You may also feel that an hour is too long and want to save on costs.

I need 24 hours notice for cancellation. Any less than 24 hours and I cannot fill the slot so will have to charge the full fee. I am happy to travel to most areas inside of London however this will incur an additional fee (the cost of a day travelcard inside the relevant zones).
Where do you teach?
I teach from my home in North London (Surrounding areas are Bounds Green, Wood Green, Turnpike Lane, Muswell Hill, Alexandra Palace, Crouch End, Highgate, Archway) at £40 per hour.

I will travel to most areas inside of London (Highbury and Islington, Camden, East London, Kings Cross, Central London, South London- with tube connections) however this will incur an additional fee (the cost of a day travel card inside the relevant zones).

Alternatively I often teach via Skype which students have found very convenient and just as effective.
When are you available?
I am flexible and open to lessons at any time of the week however my preference is 9-6 Monday to Saturday. For evenings and weekends please get in touch and let me know what you require.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages are fine. I have worked with children as young as 8 with Caboodle Arts Company. However for children under 15 I will need there to be a chaperone present for the first few sessions- until we establish a working relationship.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
BA Acting
BA Performing Arts
Public Speaking
Professional Castings for Theatre TV and Film
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
For underage students I will provide an updated DBS within 7 days. This is not currently a requirement.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I am happy to tutor via Skype - I do this regularly and have found it to be very effective and convenient for the students who can work from the comfort of their own homes.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I work with people of all ages with varying levels of experience. Some people I work with weekly and others come to me for specific auditions, casting, self tapes or drama school audition prep. I also work with people who are looking to enter the business for the first time and others who just want to build confidence and perhaps develop public speaking or interview technique. When one of my students gets a job I helped to coach them on or gets into drama school after we have worked hard together it fills me with great pride and joy!
Do you have a personal message for students?
In this industry you need to know what you are good at and how to make people see it! That is where I come in. It may be an incredibly competitive industry but there are practical things you can do to improve your chances of succeeding. I have seen all kinds of auditions and professional applications from hopeful actors and can offer the necessary advice that is so rarely given to actors about what is required. Whether it is a Drama School audition, audition technique for the professional industry or career advice, I am passionate about passing on to actors of all experiences what I have learned both in the audition and on the audition panel. Even if you are starting from nothing I am excited to see what is unique about you and to help you craft and identify your Unique Selling Point so that you can stand out from the crowd. I want to work with people who are excited about Acting and passionate about learning.
