I have gained extensive private teaching experience over the last 8 years. I welcome students of all ages and abilities from beginner (both adults and young children) up to grade 8 and beyond. I have also done invaluable work at the Junior Trinity Saturday school, observing teaching of the highest calibre with Mick Foster and Nicola Baigent. I have a strong background working with children both in a group setting and on an individual basis, striving to help students meet their full potential.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes
- Where and with whom did you train?
I have studied with an array of top players including Julian Siegel, Mark Crooks, Mick Foster, Fiona Cross and Dave Wickens.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians which gives me public liability insurance during all of my lessons.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently teach a wide range of students including three adults, a group of two boys (5+7) and an AS level student who I am helping with both the performance and composition modules of his A-levels and who plans to audition for the top music colleges next year.

I have my grade 8 (Distinction) and an undergraduate degree (2:1) from Trinity College of Music in Greenwich where I specialised in the theory of instrumental and vocal teaching, working towards my Teaching Licentiate Diploma. I also hold a performance diploma (ATCL) with Trinity Guildhall.
