I love my work: writing, languages, music, performance and drama. What I love, I share with enthusiasm and and all the knowledge and experience I've so far been lucky enough to gain over the years. So if you're lacking in confidence or have a certain skill you'd like to develop, you've come to the right tutor. Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Eleni is a highly gifted communicator, in oral and written form, with unusually sharp insights into how language works and the relationships between different kinds of knowledge. This gives her excellent tools and materials as a teacher, and I can recommend her as a huge asset to any teaching team. Her attitudes to her work are impressively professional and I have always found her focussed and dedicated to the task. She is a delight to work with and I warmly recommend her to you.
I met Eleni at a young writers workshop where I was asked to talk about my work at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, as part of the Ann Lindt
Foundation. She was already a short story award-winner. Her imaginative, creative uses of language, her rigorous, meticulous approach and her sense of always aiming higher with her writing and other work is admirable. She has a sense of fun and able to engage with a large range of people. I have no hesitation in recommending her highly.Eleni is a fantastic teacher. She has helped me study, write and analyze poetry and many other forms of writing. Most of all though, she has greatly increased my overall confidence in English. She is very kind. I have honestly enjoyed and learned a lot from her.
Eleni was my English tutor during my MA Publishing course at Kingston University. She was extremely helpful with editing my university work and dissertation. Eleni has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly superior. I recommend Eleni to you without reservation.
My experience with Eleni was fantastic.I was utterly amazed how quickly I was able to improve my writing for IELTS within days. She is a very friendly ,dedicated and sincere teacher who guided me through my exam preparation and also provided me with useful tips and techniques to improve my writing.I would certainly recommend Eleni without a doubt for IELTS preparation, specially if you are trying to achieve high scores of 7.5 or above.
Having lived in UK for a number of years, I never really thought about taking english lessons before. Since working with Eleni, I've improved my writing and grammar skills, She is a wonderful teacher, very punctual and very helpful. I feel comfortable with her because she is very patient. She really cares about your personal needs and focuses on that.
I found Eleni reliable, patient and consistently helpful. Her
knowledge of English grammar and punctuation was very precise. While I originally asked her to proofread a book manuscript, she also provided some excellent suggestions for improving sentence structure, which in every case helped those passages to flow more smoothly. I would not hesitate to use her services again in the future or to recommend her to anyone.Anyone familiar with Eleni's writing and music would recognize her as a talented person whose creative approaches and enthusiasm are sure to reflect positively upon her students.
Eleni is very patient and understanding. She is a very good teacher because she teaches at my pace and has helped me improve my skills throughout the period I've had her. I'm glad to say I have now used these skills in my GCSE exams. Also, I have noticed a huge improvement and development in my writing. I enjoyed my lessons with Eleni very much and would recommend her as a first choice English tutor.
I met Eleni for my preparation for my first international conference in engineering science. As English is my second language I had to cope with different tasks. Eleni helped me improve my pronunciation quickly and successfully. I found her support excellent. She also gave me valuable advice on how to improve my presentation style. She is very approachable and patient, which together with the depth of knowledge in her subject and her teaching skills led to a well-invested hour during each week.
