Personal Message
I am London-based bassoonist, graduated in June 2016 from Royal College of Music. I would like to share my passion and experience by teaching.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
My main profession is bassoon / mini bassoon, but I am able to teach recorder and piano.
Tell me about your qualifications.
In June 2016 I graduated from Royal College of Music, where I was doing Artist Diploma (Postgraduate Diploma). Before, I have done my Master Degree at Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland.
Currently I am a member of Southbank Sinfonia. I also have had two trials with professional orchestras since my graduation: Royal Scottish National Orchestra in Glasgow and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in London.
What kind of experience do you have?
I’ve been teaching private students aged 4-16.
How much do you charge?
I charge £40/hour for my main subject bassoon and £35/h for recorder and piano teaching.
Where do you teach?
I live in North London (Stoke Newington) area, and I am happy to travel to your place. If you live in Stoke Newington, Islington , Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Camden, Westminster or Southwark there should be no problem for me to come to your place.
When are you available?
I am quite flexible person. My main schedule is based on Southbank Sinfonia program, but I’m sure we can arrange good time for lessons.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all levels and ages with bassoon and mini-bassoon. Recorder and piano - beginners.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes
Where and with whom did you train?
During my studies at Royal College of Music I studied with Andrea de Flammineis (Orchestra of the Royal Opera House), Sarah Burnett (Britten Sinfonia) and Martin Gatt.
My MA professor at Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland was Arek Adamczyk.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Enjoy what you are doing!
