Personal Message
I'm an English pianist offering lessons on a grand piano from my studio in Central London, close to Mayfair. Learn for fun or for more serious pursuits- I teach Jazz piano and Classical piano both from absolute beginner to the most advanced student.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I'm a professional pianist offering tuition in piano, saxophone and music theory. I have completed courses at the Royal Academy of Music in London taking masterclasses with renowned artists such as Gwilym Simcock and Christopher Elton. While specialising in Jazz and improvisation, I can also teach purely Classical piano, from beginner to virtuoso. I can teach both the Classical and Jazz grades from 1 to 8 up to ABRSM diploma and beyond. Everyone of any ability is welcome and my approach is relaxed, friendly and encouraging, yet at the same time I like to guide and focus my students to see them really improve and do well. My goal is to see them progress to a point where they have the most freedom to express themselves musically. I teach my students using a top of the range grand piano.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have completed courses at The Royal Academy of Music in London studying Jazz performance and theory. I have also studied Classical piano to the highest levels in the studios of Neil Immelman and Ruth Nye of the Royal College of Music.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have had years of both teaching and performing experience in a variety of different musical settings. I'm experienced in teaching all different ages and abilities. I have performed with some of the UK's top musicians in some of the country's top music venues including Ronnie Scott's and Chelsea's 606. I have previously also been part of NYJO. Some Jazz musicians I have performed with include Alan Barnes, Kenny Wheeler and Stan Sultzman.
How much do you charge?
My rate is £30 for an hour's lesson.
Where do you teach?
I can teach from my studio which is in a quiet and very convienent location near Mayfair in Central London.

All ages and abilities. Everyone's welcome!
