Personal Message
I am a professional actress with experience of teaching all ages and levels. Whether you want to pursue acting as a professional career or you want to gain confidence through Drama, I will tailor each lesson to suit your requirements.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Drama and Acting. I help students prepare for drama school auditions as well as LAMDA examinations.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I studied Theatre Studies, Music and English at A-Level and following this I trained on the Three Year Professional Acting course at LAMDA.
What kind of experience do you have?
Since graduating I have worked professionally in Theatre, Film, Radio and Voiceover. For the past year, I have been working in the West End. As well as this, I am incredibly experienced in tutoring Drama, Theatre Studies and Audition Technique.
In the past I have worked at a prestigious drama school teaching acting classes with particular focus on Shakespearean plays and classical texts. I have a wealth of experience teaching children from the ages of 2 years to 18 with particular focus on Drama and Music. I work with adults preparing for drama school auditions and also with professional actors, assisting them with audition prep and self tapes. As well as this, I have coached adults in public speaking and presentation technique.
How much do you charge?
Private tuition is £35 an hour, or £45 for 1.5 hours. I am happy to travel to you. Please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
Where do you teach?
I teach from my home in Wandsworth.
When are you available?
As a working actress, my schedule is flexible.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I have lots of experience teaching all ages and all levels. My lessons are fun, tailored to your needs and productive - we will achieve a lot in your session.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I do believe that face-to-face tutoring has the most benefits, however I would be happy to teach over Skype. I am currently working with several students (some internationally) via Skype - it works well for different time zones and can be very convenient if you can't make a lesson in person. Please get in touch to discuss options.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I belong to Spotlight, Equity and the Musician's Union.
Where and with whom did you train?
I trained on the three year course at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Drama Art).
Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently working with many students, helping them prepare for their Drama School auditions. We are working on Shakespeare and Jacobean pieces, as well as contemporary monologues. A few of my students are currently preparing for their recalls for the top Drama Schools.

I have also been working with a recent Drama School graduate, assisting them with their auditions and I'm delighted that they have already secured two big Theatre roles within two months of graduating.

I am also currently working with a 12 year old student who is preparing for his drama scholarship exam for a top public school.

It is all very varied and of course, fun!
