What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching all ages since 2010 and have done that with pleasure. Love and pleasure in music is central in the lessons. Besides that I am teaching violin technique in a healthy and natural way. During the lessons I will accompany the student on violin, which will encourage the love for music making with others.

Where and with whom did you train?
I am a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music where I received the Amadeus Scholarship for outstanding achievement. I perform regularly in the UK and abroad. My playing has been featured by media outlets worldwide including The Guardian, BBC Radio 3, Radio 4 in the Netherlands, NHK World in Japan. I am a founding member of the Behn Quartet with whom I got selected as the CAVATINA chamber music fellows at the Royal Academy of Music 2016/2017& 2017/2018 and will perform in the UK, New-Zealand, China and the Netherlands in the 17/18 season. Besides being a passionate chamber musician, I regularly freelance with several London orchestra's.

Alicia plays a Thomas Carcassi violin from 1775, which is kindly on loan from the Royal Academy of Music.
