I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher. I always try and get the best out of my students and try to find creative solutions to musical and technical difficulties, realising that every student learns in a slightly different way.

First Class BMus (Honours), Royal College of Music, London.
Masters in Performance - Orchestral Artistry, Guildhall School of Music and Drama
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught privately for several years. I have experience in individual, group and whole class teaching. At the Royal College of Music I took a module on the Art of Teaching and have observed bassoon lessons at the City of London School for Boys and the Royal College of Music Junior Department. I have also taught bassoon sections on junior orchestral courses and helped to coach wind and mixed ensembles for Aldeburgh Young Musicians.
How much do you charge?
£40 per hour Bassoon
£35 per hour Clarinet
Where do you teach?
I will come and teach at your home.
I currently live in Dalston and I am willing to travel to the surrounding boroughs.
When are you available?
My weekly schedule is flexible. I can teach weekday afternoons and evenings and weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages.
Bassoon - beginner to advanced
Clarinet - beginner to Grade 5

I am also happy to be a practise assistant.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I understand that not everyone wants to take exams but I will always set learning goals.
I can help prepare for ABRSM exams
