I have been involved in education for 8 years working as both a private tutor, and taking classes in schools and community centres. I take an approach of encouragement and inspiration for students to utilise their talents and achieve their goals.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Maths and English to GCSE level. Guitar, Piano, and Songwriting.
Tell me about your qualifications.
3 years studying Jazz Guitar at the Royal Academy of Music on the Bmus course.
Obtained LRAM teaching diploma while there.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a full time tutor for over 8 years. I have experience preparing students for 11+ Pre Test, 13+ Common Entrance, GCSE, i-GCSE, and IELTS for English as a foreign language. I have also tutored music students up to Grade 8 on guitar, and Grade 6 on the piano.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30 per hour at home, or £35 out of home. I can also teach via skype.
Where do you teach?
I can teach from home, or travel to students' homes.
When are you available?
I teach weekdays, and evenings, I am flexible with times.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and abilities.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
11+ Pre Test, 13+ Common Entrance, GCSE, IELTS. I can help music students with Grades 1-8 classical, jazz and rock school guitar, and 1-6 classical and jazz piano.
