About Binisa
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have 11 years singing experience, having trained in Jazz, Pop, South African and South Indian styles and technique. I have lead vocal workshops in a variety of settings, from schools and universities, to charities, working with people of all ages. I've been teaching and performing as a professional singer since 2010.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have an up-to-date DBS (CRB) certificate.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of the Musician's Union, PRS and PPL.

I am a professional singer and bass player. I have been singing for 9 years and gained my BA in Music Studies in 2010. I really enjoy teaching and helping people to discover their voices.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach singing lessons. My main areas are vocal technique, jazz and pop styles of singing.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I gained my BA Music Studies in 2010.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £35 per hour for one-to-one lessons.
Or you can book a block of 5 lessons for a reduced rate of £160.
Prices for group sessions vary depending on the number of participants (please enquire).
- Where do you teach?
I teach in Tulse Hill, SW2. I'm also happy to do home visits or college visits, depending on the location and providing there is a piano/keyboard to use.
- When are you available?
My availability changes from month to month, so please get in touch and we'll arrange something that suits us both!
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach beginners up to experienced singers, of all ages.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
If you are interested in having lessons, please get in touch and we'll take it from there. I'm quite flexible in what I teach, because different students have different needs and aims.
