What kind of experience do you have?
I studied for 4 years at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester developing and gaining experience in teaching whilst I was there. I deputised for an experienced private cello teacher and I was also employed by Manchester City Music Service (now known as One Education) where I taught weekly in a primary school and at Manchester Youth String Orchestra. RNCM has a teaching programme called ‘Music Education in the Community’ which I studied for two years. I have nearly 10 years of private teaching experience.

In March 2013 I took part on the competitive work experience scheme with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s ‘In Harmony’ project which mirrors the world renowned Venezuelan ‘El Sistema’ project. In September 2013 I joined NYOS Camerata to perform and teach alongside Sistema Scotland. I began teaching when I was 14 and I have experience teaching children with autism.

I have a range of performing experience and have played with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Ensemble, BBC SSO and RSNO.
