Which subject(s) do you teach?
At GCSE/IB, Chris Street tutors Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Core & Additional Science & Maths. He also tutors Statistics, Business Studies, Citizenship, Geography & Geology at GCSE /IB. At 'AS/A' & degree level Chris tutors Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology, Biological Sciences, Critical Thinking & MBA.
Tell me about your qualifications.
Chris Street was awarded a Masters of Science in Medicinal Chemistry in 2016 from the Open University. He was awarded a degree in Biochemistry (Hons) from Bristol Univerisity. Chris has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Open University.
What kind of experience do you have?
Chris Street has taught in 20 secondary schools as a Supply Teacher. Chris has tutored dozens of students in science and maths. He has thirty years experience in scientific and technology related businesses.
How much do you charge?
Chris Street charges from £28 per hour for tutorial lessons.
Where do you teach?
Chris Street lives on the border of Dorset and Hampshire in Bransgore (postcode: BH23) near Christchurch. Chris tutors at home or can visit pupils' homes up to 20 miles away (for example Southampton, Romsey, Salisbury, Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Lymington) or outside these locations (subject to an additional travelling fee).
When are you available?
Chris Street is usually available anytime (except Sundays) including school holidays. If you need to cancel a tutorial (for any reason), Chris will not charge you for the lesson!

Tell me about some of your current students.
Chris Street builds knowledge and confidence in students so they can better than predicted grades: Emily Prendergast was predicted a C but achieved A grade in Chemistry; Dylan Clift was predicted an E but achieved grade C in Chemistry; James Cordery was predicted a B but achieved an A* grade in Physics. Luke Scriven achieved A* in Maths & A grade in Chemistry. Luke said “thank you Mr Street for the help with my GCSE exams, I don't think I would've got the grades I got without your help and support.”
Do you have a personal message for students?
As a Supply Teacher, Chris Street has taught science, maths and other subjects to a thousand or more secondary school students.

Chris adapts his one-to-one tutorials to the specific needs and abilities of his students. After every tutorial, Chris will ask his students to rate it on how it has helped them to achieve their goals. Based on these ratings and comments he modifies subsequent tutorials to better meet his students' needs.
