Personal Message
Music has always been my passion and being able to express it through clarinet has always been a privilege and joy. I am happily sharing my experience and approach to students of all ages and levels (beginner to post Grade 8).
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I mainly teach Bb clarinet and also offer lessons in both most common auxiliary versions (Eb and Bass clarinet). I can provide lessons in recorder and music theory to any level. I am ready to coach any type of chamber music and provide my insight in meditation. I have intermediate knowledge of French and German language and can integrate them in lessons if needed.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have graduated with distinction in undergraduate programme BMus(Hons) and postgraduate programme MA at the Royal Academy of Music. I have also been awarded DipRAM which is an institutional prize awarded to students for an outstanding performance in a Postgraduate Level Final Recital.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have overseen students with their preparation for their music college admission in the past and am improving my skills and approaches as a beginner teacher. I have been visiting teacher in Waldorf School Ljubljana and Music School Idrija (both in Slovenia) and have held workshops with children from Netley Primary School in London. I am very passionate for orchestral music and I regularly perform with orchestras such as London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Halle Orchestra and Sinfonia Cymru.
How much do you charge?
I charge £40 pounds per hour for clarinet, chamber music lessons and recorder. However I do charge extra if long distance travelling to your home is required. My rates for music theory and meditation are £30 and £20 respectively. I do offer discount on any consultation lesson, please contact me for more information.
Where do you teach?
I teach at home, but am happy to travel to counties nearby which include Lewisham, Southwark and Bromley. Travelling further is possible, but additional fee to cover my travel would be required.
When are you available?
My schedule varies so please contact me directly to arrange time, preferably by email or phone number.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and levels.
