Tell me about your qualifications.
Freelance tutor
I achieved a 1st Bmus from the Academy of Contemporary Music. Here I studied Popular music performance which focussed on the musical application of drumming as much as the technical development aspects.

Touring drummer
I have been touring over 2016 with Rock band Bones. Supporting the likes of The Kooks, Skunk Anansie, Pvris, Band of Skulls and Myavi. I continue to perform across the UK within a handful of projects.
This industry experience enables to to include relevant advice in my lessons that improve students overall ability.
What kind of experience do you have?
I started my tuition business in 2014. I have built wonderful rapports with parents and students since and have been teaching a range of students weekly. I am encouraged to see vast progress amongst all my students and it brings me great excitement to introduce the next generation to such an awesome instrument.
How much do you charge?
£30 1 hour lesson (over 18)
£25 1 hour lesson (under 18)
Where do you teach?
I conduct lessons from my home drum studio based in Greenford Ub6.
Students can play as loud as they want on a high end Tama drum kit. I provide ear protection and plenty of sheets to take home (optional), just bring your sticks!

I do home visits (travel to student's homes) however rates are higher to account for time and travel expense.
When are you available?
I am available:

Monday 6:30-7pm
Tuesday (flexible)
Wednesday 4:30-7pm
Thursday 4:30-7pm
Friday (flexible)
Saturday 1:30-4pm
Sunday 9-10am/ 12-1pm
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced.
If you have never drummed before I can guarantee you'll be playing along with music in no time.
If you're a casual learner I am more then happy to teach you that cool John Bonham lick you heard but can't quite figure out.
If you're a drummer looking to venture out into the industry and want to brush up on your independence exercises we can get stuck in.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Trinity Guildhall Examinations
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have a basic DBS certificate
Tell me about some of your current students.
It is a focus of mine to have all my students able to play by ear. This empowers them to learn by themselves and eventually play along to all music. My students understand dynamics and song structures from as young as 6. The progress everyone is making is phenomenal and I put it down to the fun exciting learning environment my lessons have. Occasionally students come to my lessons with ideas of there OWN! We can spend time developing their ideas and build it into a new direction of study.
